Employsure has been a rapid growth path over the past few years and this growth means that they are always on the search for the best talent possible in each role. To increase Employsure’s ability to attract the best people, I began the project of redesigning the careers section of the Employsure website.
I started the project by undertaking some IA mapping and research and used this knowledge to create a new userflow for the updated design. This involved removing unnecessary pages, combining pages to cut down on clicks and adding new pages to capture applicants who did not have a current role available.
After IA mapping and research, I used Adobe XD to wireframe my proposed design and finally prototyping in XD to present to stakeholders throughout the business. At the same time of prototyping, I was working with our content team to help direct copy creation for the new pages. It was important to change the messaging, as I was presenting a new way of speaking to interested applicants in my design.
Gaining approval from upper management, I began designing the new careers pages ready for handover to developers. In total 7 pages were designed to create a new careers hub for Employsure.
